Nanotoxicology Workshop – March 16, 2010

The Nanotechnology Institute and the Center of Excellence in Environmental Toxicology are jointly sponsoring a free workshop focused on research opportunities in nanotoxicology.   

 

This workshop is for academic or industry PIs who wish to learn about new research advances and current funding opportunities, and to form teams to pursue collaborative funding.  Program managers from EPA and NIEHS will give presentations, and breakout sessions will be held to assist in identifying opportunities for collaboration.

 

The event will be held on March 16, 2010 8:00 AM – 1:30 PM at the University City Science Center, 3711 Market Street.  This workshop is aimed at forming partnerships to understand the mechanisms of nanotoxicology and exploit this knowledge to improve nanoparticle design.  Workshop leaders will be from UPenn, EPA and NIEHS.  Breakfast and lunch will be provided.  RSVP provided.  For more information and to register for this event, please click here.
