Y-Carbon Recognized for Revolutionary Technology
R&D Magazine has recognized Y-Carbon, Inc. with the prestigious R&D 100 award for its revolutionary technology which provides the world with clean energy, safe drinking water and improved health care.
The science behind Y-Carbon’s products was developed by Drexel University and the A.J. Drexel Nanotechnology Institute by Professor Yury Gogotsi. The work was supported in part by the NTI’s Nano Application Fund. Y-Carbon, Inc. maintains corporate headquarters and research labs in King of Prussia, PA.

NTI research programs have been extremely successful at publishing in peer-reviewed journals, resulting in more than 820 articles.
In addition, NTI researchers have been awarded more than 200 federal grants totaling more than $150 million.
